Oregon Divisional Chainsaw Sculpture Championships  

June 12-15, 2008

    Reedsport is part of the ECHO Cup series!   

  Where:  Reedsport , OR       

  What:  All tools Chainsaw Carving Competition.

  Prize money:  Over $10,000.00 in prize money will be given away along with ECHO saws and equipment and many other donated items.

 Theme:  Fish Tales 

 (PROS:  Bring to life a favorite fishing story you have experienced, read about or dreamed of!  This can include real or make believe.  Please read the judging criteria when designing your sculpture.  SEMI-PROS:  This will include anything to do with fishing.)

25% of each carvers quick carve totals will be returned to them!

(You will receive a check via mail after the show.)

  Lunch and Dinner will be catered to the site.  Leona does a great job with this including dessert.  She also provides pastries, fruit and coffee in the mornings at the site.

  Canopies will be provided.  Electricity is available at site.  You are welcome to bring inventory to sell as long as it fits in front of your carving area.

  There will be a welcome dinner on Wednesday night, the night before the comp starts.  We will be giving a way some cool door prizes throughout the evening.

  There will be a quick carve competition each day. Cash and prizes for the top 5 pro carvers auction totals and top 3 in semi-pro. The prizes will be given out for each days quick carve.

The quick carves become the property of the show, and are your entry fee.  The large main event piece is yours to keep.

  Each year the show donates a $500.00 art scholarship to the local high school.
